Biography

Panchanok Muenkaew is a researcher with extensive experience in conducting and economic evaluation studies at both national and international levels. Her areas of expertise include qualitative research, public health policy impact assessment, and the development of evidence-informed decision-making processes.

She has worked collaboratively with government agencies, international organizations, and research institutions across Asia and Africa to promote the use of academic evidence in shaping sustainable health policies. Her work emphasizes stakeholder engagement and capacity-building to support effective and context-appropriate health system strengthening.

In recent years, Panchanok has developed a strong interest in digital health and artificial intelligence (AI). She has contributed to situational analyses of AI technology applications in Thailand’s health system, examined opportunities and challenges in adopting AI in low- and middle-income countries, and participated in the development of ethical and governance frameworks for digital health technologies.

She is committed to advancing the responsible, equitable, and context-sensitive adoption of technology to help build high-quality, inclusive, and sustainable health systems for all.
